Testbeds and Prototypes
Research Overview
Testbeds and prototypes: NYU Wireless has a unique set of capabilities for bringing ideas to reality. NYU Wireless spin-off Pi-Radio is fabricating ande deploying software defined radios (SDRs) for the new spectrum bands including arrays at 140 GHz and multi-band arrays for the upper mid-band (7-24 GHz). NYU is also one of the universities in COSMOS (led by Rutgers University), the first city-scale testbed with remote access. Our facilities also include the NSF-funded THz measurement lab.

Software Defined Radios for the Upper Mid-Band
Research Overview The upper mid-band — roughly from 6 to 24 GHz — has attracted considerable recent interest for new wireless services. Developing systems in these bands pr
